The menu boasts eight different steaks including a 10 oz. peppercorn crusted hanger steak with Meadow Creek Grayson, a 14 oz. New York strip covered with grilled onions and Grafton Village 4 yr. white cheddar, and an 18 oz. ribeye with a garlic porcini ragout. Along with every entrée, customers get a choice of two sides. The list of sides has something for everyone with mashed potatoes, hand cut fries, potatoes au gratin, onion rings, bacon potato salad, miso lychee coleslaw, seasonal vegetables, and more. The menu has plenty of choices for those not interested in red meat, including shrimp, fish, chicken, and mac and cheese five different ways in addition to a separate artesan cheese menu.
The bar features a large beer list of primarily American craft brews in addition to a large American whisky list. In fact, the focus of this restaurant is be "American made". Given the tough economic times in our country, we’ve decided to do our part to help the U.S. economy. Most everything on our menu including beer, wine, artesan cheeses, beef and produce are American made. Consequently, the menu changes according to what’s in season domestically.
The décor has a warm color scheme with artwork of original photographs of Chicago, shot by owner, Lynne Wallack. The music selections focuses on American blues and jazz.
